Started with Practice:
I am from Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to Dallas in 1999 to begin my nursing career at Parkland Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I was a nurse in the NICU for 17 years and on the resuscitation team for 15 of those years. Being on the resuscitation team required me to attend all high risk deliveries, resuscitate the infant, and admit them to intensive care. In 2016 I started working at Children's Medical Center Dallas in the Emergency Department, and am now excited to be a part of the Children's Medical Clinics of East Texas family!
My healthcare interests include Global Healthcare, International Adoption, Foster Care, Infectious Disease, childhood safety, and Primary Care within the community. In addition to caring for children, I love to read, run, volunteer, travel the globe, go to the ballet, and spend time with my daughter, husband, and dog, Glitter!
